About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather intake data, reason for visit, and assist with routine physical exams
- Assist physicians with office procedures and provide ordered treatment modalities
- Document medical records
- Administer medications and vaccinations
- Perform telephone triage
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
- Provide patient and family education
- Schedule referrals and specialty appointments
- Ensure quality nursing care in accordance with the New York Nurse Practice Act and applicable nursing and clinical standards

Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure in the State of New York
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Participation in orientation and continuing education
- Ability to lift 25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, and reach
