About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care and advocate for patients and families
- Care for diverse patient populations across multiple inpatient specialties and care settings
- Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and monitor patient progress
- Educate patients and families to support recovery, wellness, and transitions of care
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and fellow caregivers
- Communicate patient status and care plans through verbal handoffs and clinical documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Utilize clinical equipment and technology safely and effectively
- Provide care across Boise and Nampa units, including trauma medical-surgical, trauma general surgery, orthopedics, medical oncology, telemetry, cardiac medical, and medical-surgical units
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently hold an Idaho or multistate RN license
- If holding a multistate license, establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 6 months of hire
- Basic Life Support certification
- Willingness to obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for Healthcare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Practice within Idaho State Board of Nursing standards
- Ability to work a 12 Hour Night Shift
