About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care and advocate for patients and families
  • Care for a diverse patient population across multiple specialties and units in Boise and Nampa
  • Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and monitor patient progress
  • Educate patients and families about recovery, wellness, and transitions of care
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and fellow caregivers
  • Communicate patient status and care plans through handoffs and clinical documentation
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to regulatory and organizational standards
  • Use clinical equipment and technology safely and effectively
  • Practice according to Idaho State Board of Nursing standards, hospital policies, and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently hold an Idaho or multistate RN license
  • If holding a multistate license, establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 6 months of hire
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Willing to obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for Healthcare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
