About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system
- Float between Loyola University Medical Center, MacNeal Hospital and Gottlieb Memorial Hospital
- Float to various units within the specialty area
- Assess patients, identify outcomes and solutions, plan, implement and evaluate care
- Act independently and appropriately within license, scope of knowledge and experience
- Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions and outcomes
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes
- Take on new and additional responsibilities while managing competing priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment
- Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health
- Required to have and maintain credentials required per specialty area, such as ACLS and TNCC
- BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association
- Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions
- Must work a minimum of 36 hours per 6-week schedule
