About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care and advocate for patients and families
  • Care for patients across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and NICU settings
  • Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and monitor patient progress
  • Educate patients and families to support recovery, wellness, and transitions of care
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and fellow caregivers
  • Communicate patient status and care plans through verbal handoffs and clinical documentation
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Utilize clinical equipment and technology safely and effectively
  • Float across Boise, Nampa, and Ontario facilities serving southwestern Idaho and eastern Oregon

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently hold an Idaho or multistate RN license
  • Multistate license holders must obtain an Idaho license within 60 days
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery preferred
  • Willingness to obtain an RN license in Oregon within 90 days of start date
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Willingness to obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for Healthcare Provider (ACLS) certification and NRP within 6 months of hire
  • Willingness to obtain PALS, STABLE and NCC-EFM certifications within one year of hire date
