About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care and advocate for patients and families
Care for diverse patient populations across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and NICU settings
Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Safely administer medications and treatments and monitor patient progress
Educate patients and families to support recovery, wellness, and transitions of care
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and fellow caregivers
Communicate patient status and care plans through verbal handoffs and clinical documentation
Maintain accurate, timely documentation
Safely utilize clinical equipment and technology
Provide care across Saint Alphonsus locations in Boise, Nampa, Idaho, and Ontario, Oregon

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently hold an Idaho or multistate RN license
Multistate license holders must obtain an Idaho license within 60 days
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery preferred
Willingness to obtain an RN license in Oregon within 90 days of start date
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Willingness to obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for Healthcare Provider (ACLS) certification and NRP within 6 months of hire
Willingness to obtain PALS, STABLE and NCC-EFM certifications within one year of hire date
