About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system.
- Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions.
- Assess patients, identify outcomes/solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Act independently and appropriately within license, scope of knowledge, and experience.
- Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes.
- Take on new and additional responsibilities while managing competing priorities.
- Provide emergency department nursing coverage for a 13-week assignment at MercyOne Centerville Medical Center.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience for Emergency Department.
- Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc).
- BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.
- Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions.
