About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Fill short- and long-term nursing assignments throughout the health system
- Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and regions
- Assess patients, identify outcomes and solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Act independently and appropriately within license, scope of knowledge, and experience
- Maintain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes
- Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes
- Take on new and additional responsibilities
- Manage competing priorities while embracing new ideas and cultural differences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment
- Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health
- Required to have and maintain the credentials required per the specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC)
- BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association
- Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions
