About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Fill short- and long-term nursing assignments throughout the health system
- Provide Registered Nurse care in Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit settings
- Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and regions
- Assess patients, identify outcomes and solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Act independently within license, scope of knowledge, and experience
- Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes
- Take on new and additional responsibilities while managing competing priorities
- Travel within the local region or nationally to fill critical healthcare staffing needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment
- Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health
- Required to have and maintain the credentials required per the specialty area, such as ACLS and TNCC
- BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association
- Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions
