About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system.
- Assist mainly in Labor and Delivery with tubal procedures, C-sections, and hysterectomies.
- Assist with fetal heart monitoring in the OR.
- Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and regions.
- Assess, identify outcomes and solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Act independently within license, scope of knowledge, experience, and practice area.
- Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes.
- Take on new and additional responsibilities while managing competing priorities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
- Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
- Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
- Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc).
- BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.
- Circulating skills within Labor and Delivery preferred.
- Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions.
