  • Fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system
  • Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions
  • Apply standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines
  • Practice independently and appropriately within scope of knowledge and experience
  • Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes
  • Take on new and additional responsibilities
  • Manage competing priorities while embracing new ideas and cultural differences
  • Travel within the local region or nationally across varied practice settings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner-accredited Respiratory Therapist program; registry eligible
  • Current RRT credential
  • Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state where working
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, other health personnel, and department management
  • Analytical skills necessary to identify patients’ needs
  • Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment
  • Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions
