About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage projects through the full lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and aligned with business objectives
Coordinate project activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups
Drive accountability and execution across cross-functional teams
Facilitate meetings, project reviews, working sessions, and stakeholder updates
Build relationships with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and project sponsors
Prepare and deliver executive-level project communications and status reporting
Escalate issues, risks, and decision points to maintain delivery momentum
Maintain RAID logs covering risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
Track and manage project dependencies across teams and vendors
Support formal change control processes and governance requirements
Drive resolution of project blockers and delivery challenges
Manage project budgets, procurement impacts, and resource allocations
Maintain project documentation, status reports, meeting notes, and action logs
Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and governance standards
Deliver final project documentation and formal project closure activities
Support vendor management and oversight of third-party deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of project management experience leading medium to large cross-functional projects
Strong experience managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and change control
Proven ability to create and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, RAID logs, and executive communications
Experience coordinating business, technical, operational, and vendor stakeholders
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and meeting facilitation abilities
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive clarity in ambiguous situations
Experience working within matrixed, regulated, complex, or enterprise environments
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint
PMP, CAPM, Agile, or Scrum certifications are preferred, advantageous, or desirable
Utility industry experience, IT infrastructure project experience, cybersecurity project experience, Operational Technology (OT) project experience, vendor-heavy environment experience, or enterprise transformation experience are bonus qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred
Equivalent professional experience will also be considered
Must be authorized to work in the United States
