About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the implementation and launch of a new Learning Management System, including architecture, content taxonomy, user roles, reporting, rollout, and post-launch adoption
  • Develop scalable onboarding and ongoing training programs for retail associates and store management
  • Create product knowledge, selling skills, brand story, and operational standards curricula
  • Design bite-sized retail microlearning, including 2–5 minute videos, job aids, and in-the-moment quizzes
  • Design and deliver corporate learning, management development, and leadership progression programs
  • Create, curate, maintain, and refresh e-learning, instructor-led training, job aids, video content, and assessments
  • Own required compliance training, maintain LMS completion records, and report to HR and Legal stakeholders
  • Establish KPIs and reporting cadences to measure training effectiveness, engagement, and business impact
  • Conduct learning needs assessments with Retail Operations, Merchandising, HR, and Marketing
  • Translate business priorities and performance gaps into timely, on-budget learning solutions
  • Report to the Director, Human Resources

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of Learning & Development experience, with at least 2 years in a retail or multi-unit environment
  • Hands-on LMS implementation and launch experience, including configuration, content migration, user onboarding, and post-launch adoption management
  • Experience designing and facilitating retail-focused training programs including new hire onboarding, product knowledge, selling skills, and store operations
  • Instructional design skills across e-learning, instructor-led training, virtual, video, and microlearning
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience measuring training effectiveness and reporting on learning outcomes, completions, and business impact metrics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
  • Background in fashion, apparel, or specialty retail, with understanding of seasonal retail cycles and store-based workforce demands
  • Experience managing L&D in a high-growth or turnaround environment, including building programs with limited resources
  • Familiarity with talent management platforms, HRIS integrations with LMS systems, and compliance training requirements in multi-state environments
  • Must meet applicable employment eligibility requirements
