About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead brainstorming, development, analysis, and publication of recurring and ad hoc automotive insights
  • Coordinate program management for companywide, multi-department data initiatives
  • Own program roadmaps, publication and release calendars, milestones, and status reporting
  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions, updates, and executive readouts
  • Partner with Analytics to define key questions, findings, supporting evidence, and audience-appropriate formats
  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery of public-facing and executive-facing insight deliverables, including press and industry-event support
  • Establish and maintain documented review processes covering methodology, fact-checking, source and unit clarity, legal review, and sign-off
  • Manage relationships with third-party market data and research suppliers, including onboarding, oversight, escalation, and resolution
  • Develop and monitor market intelligence dashboards for market trends, supplier performance, and initiative progress
  • Partner with Legal and Finance on supplier agreements and renewals
  • Recommend solutions to complex cross-functional problems
  • Independently manage multiple concurrent initiatives, supplier relationships, and reporting deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of progressively responsible program or project management experience, including data/analytics, research, or content/insight publishing activities and internal/external stakeholders
  • Editorial and/or analytics-oriented experience creating automotive research/insights for consumers, dealers, automotive industry suppliers, and general/business media outlets
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional, companywide initiatives across multiple departments and stakeholder groups
  • Effective verbal and written communication with multiple internal and external levels
  • Ability to explain nuanced data trends in clear, plain language to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Results-oriented ability to execute and complete deliverables across multiple concurrent projects
  • Working knowledge of data visualization and storytelling principles
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools such as Claude to accelerate analysis, drafting, and validation
  • Strong capability in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Tableau, Claude, and similar productivity tools
  • Up to 10% travel, including occasional industry events
  • Automotive industry experience required
  • Detail-oriented and disciplined in accuracy, tracking, fact-checking, multitasking, and proactive problem-solving
  • Self-motivated to identify blockers and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborative ability to bridge Analytics, Communications, and business leaders
  • Adaptable learner who seeks feedback and masters new tools
  • Bonus: working familiarity with SQL; experience with Datawrapper, Flourish, or similar tools; background in market research, data journalism, or PR
