About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead multiple software development departments delivering business-critical B2B integration solutions
Define engineering strategy and roadmaps with Product, QA, and Architecture teams
Drive adoption of automation, CI/CD pipelines, and tools that improve development velocity and reliability
Define and improve software development processes, methodologies, and SDLC best practices
Establish release criteria, automated testing goals, and quality benchmarks
Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements, including ISAE3402
Manage leaders and teams across Europe, Vietnam, China, and the United States
Lead four departments comprising architects, developers, QA engineers, database specialists, and monitoring teams
Set goals, monitor performance, conduct evaluations, and support employee growth
Align engineering teams with Product, Services and Support, Tech Ops, and Sales
Oversee architecture, design, and security across approximately 10+ B2B supply chain integration systems
Promote innovation in architecture, automation, and development practices
Ensure delivery against goals, roadmaps, and priorities
Monitor team performance and capacity and initiate improvements
Drive execution excellence, sprint planning, daily standups, and resolution of high-priority issues
Use AI-enabled engineering tools to enhance productivity, code quality, and problem-solving while following secure coding standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
10+ years of software engineering experience
At least 5 years in engineering leadership, including leading global teams
Proven success leading teams delivering SaaS or enterprise B2B products
Expertise in development frameworks and languages such as Java, C#, .NET, Node.js, Python, or similar
Experience improving team velocity, scaling agile processes, and optimizing engineering workflows
Experience owning release trains on live, customer-facing platforms with zero-disruption requirements
Solid understanding of software architecture, development processes, and system design
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
Experience with governance, compliance, and audit-driven development processes
Continuous improvement mindset focused on quality and efficiency
Evidence of building an engineering culture rooted in autonomy, accountability, technical excellence, and KPIs
Experience with integration platforms, specifically Supply Chain, preferred
