About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute preventive maintenance on TRUMPF CNC machines, including laser-cutting, punching, press-brake and laser-punch combination machines
  • Build and develop strong customer relationships
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate professionally with customers
  • Explain completed work, safety evaluations, activity reports, maintenance checklists and related topics
  • Provide onsite customer training for machine operation and/or maintenance
  • Work with Product Support for technical assistance and provide diagnostic feedback
  • Coordinate with the PM scheduler on planning and scheduling missions
  • Submit organized mission reports within one day after completing a mission
  • Submit complete and organized expense reports by the week after credit card charges occur
  • Support further development of the PM Group by suggesting efficiency and quality improvements and updating/correcting PM checklists
  • Choose the most economical travel method, coordinated through the Travel Agency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two-year technical school degree in Engineering principles or a suitable combination of education and work experience
  • Experience in computer software, file management, electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics and hydraulics is helpful
  • Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver's license and record
  • Must be able to lift 70 pounds without aid
  • Requires 100% nationwide travel, including overnight stays and occasional weekend travel
  • Flexible / adaptable attitude regarding last minute changes to schedule and mission
