About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the portfolio of Artificial Intelligence initiatives
- Structure intake, assessment, prioritization, and demand selection processes
- Support strategic planning cycles and portfolio reviews
- Coordinate the tracking of initiatives with different Product Owners, ensuring alignment on priorities, dependencies, and timelines
- Track backlogs, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and action plans for initiatives
- Apply agile management concepts and practices and, where applicable, SAFe Lean Portfolio Management
- Assist with capacity management and prioritization across different initiatives
- Facilitate ceremonies, checkpoints, and project and governance tracking forums
- Track PoC, MVP, and AI innovation initiatives from conception through delivery
- Identify and track risks, impediments, and dependencies across different teams and initiatives
- Define strategic metrics for portfolio monitoring
- Track OKRs and KPIs associated with initiatives
- Measure value realization, ROI, and benefits generated
- Translate technical discussions and project progress into clear information for stakeholders and leadership
- Promote integration among different POs and AI workstreams, avoiding duplicated efforts and ensuring synergies across initiatives
- Act as the AI Manager’s management partner
- Connect strategy, planning, and execution across products, technology, and business areas
- Support initiative prioritization based on value, risk, and strategic alignment
- Ensure executive visibility into the AI agenda
- Support the large-scale adoption of Generative AI and intelligent automation
- Support the development of the corporate AI roadmap
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in project, program, product, or technology initiative management
- Experience in digital transformation, innovation, or technology environments
- Experience leading initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders
- Cross-functional experience working with Product Owners, Tech Leads, and development teams
- Experience in agile environments and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and/or NLP
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management
- Knowledge of the SAFe framework is a plus
- Knowledge of strategic management, OKRs, and performance indicators
- Knowledge of Data Analytics and digital transformation
- Ability to understand technical discussions, architectures, and development challenges related to AI
- Ability to translate technical concepts into executive language and vice versa
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field
- SAFe Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) certification — a plus
- SAFe Agilist (SA) certification — a plus
- SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner certification — a plus
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum certifications — a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, AWS AI, or Google Vertex AI — a plus
- Knowledge of AI Governance and Responsible AI — a plus
- Experience in organizational transformation and Business Agility — a plus
- Experience with Generative AI, LLM, NLP, agent, or Prompt Engineering projects — a plus
- Experience building and tracking AI PoCs and MVPs — a plus
- MBA or postgraduate degree in Management, Technology, Innovation, or Artificial Intelligence — a plus
- Experience developing business cases and managing value — a plus
