Key responsibilities & impact

Manage overall business office activities in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations, and as directed by the administrator
Coordinate with the Central Billing Office on insurance payments, including private, Medicare, Medicaid, and other managed care
Manage refunds for accounts receivable
Maintain appropriate logs and reports, including resident funds, census records, and case accounts

Requirements

What you’ll need

A fire and passion for working with seniors
A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
High school diploma, or equivalent, required
Associates degree in business or accounting fields preferred
Prior experience in business office operations in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
Effective communication skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, governmental agencies, their representatives, and the community
Current knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations
Professional image in both appearance and behavior
Excellent written and oral communication skills
