About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physicians’ orders and residents’ total needs
- Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) on 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services
- Direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with Federal, State, company standards, guidelines, and regulations
- Assume responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing
- Work with and support residents in a rehabilitation and healthcare center
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently licensed as a RN in the state in which you are practicing
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Fire and passion for working with seniors
- Flexible, fun, and energetic personality
