Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform tasks in the preparation, service, and clean up for meals served to residents in the nursing center
  • Maintain an attractive and sanitary dining room, meal service, and delivery
  • Prepare and serve meals according to the menu
  • Monitor food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning methods

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma, or equivalent, required
  • Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
  • A fire and passion for working with seniors
  • A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to cross-train as a cook and hold a dual-role
  • Ability to comply with Federal, State and Local regulations for food service and nutrition care
