About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform maintenance department activities to ensure environmental compliance with Federal, State, and Local ordinances, regulations, and building codes
- Assist in maintaining the facility in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition
- Keep the facility in good repair and free from hazards related to electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
- Prior experience in maintenance required
- Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
- Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Passion for working with seniors
