Maintenance Assistant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform maintenance department activities to ensure environmental compliance with Federal, State and Local ordinances, regulations, and building codes
- Assist in maintaining the facility in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition
- Keep the facility in good repair and free from hazards caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
- Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
- Prior maintenance experience required
- Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Fire and passion for working with seniors
- Flexible, fun, and energetic personality
