About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the Thrive program is implemented daily
  • Facilitate the Thrive program through Life Enrichment Coordinators, Life Enrichment Assistants, and direct care team members
  • Provide general oversight of the Courtyard community
  • Cooperate with the Administrator and Health Care Coordinator
  • Work closely with the Life Enrichment team and direct care staff to ensure a functional and appropriate program

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia
  • At least one year of supervisory experience
  • Prior background in senior living, social work, recreational therapy, or nursing preferred
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills required
  • Good judgement, prioritization of duties, and effective problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s progression in older adults required
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Flexible, fun, and energetic personality
  • Fire and passion for working with seniors
