About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Apply the community’s skin management program
- Deliver safe, efficient, and effective treatment to heal surgical openings, ulcers, bed sores, feeding tube sites, and abscesses
- Assess wounds
- Create and implement treatment plans
- Monitor infections and signs of various infections
- Clean wounds
- Work within Tutera Senior Living & Health Care’s YOUNITE philosophy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state in which you are practicing
- Prior Wound Care experience required
- Minimum of one year of experience providing specialized treatments in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
