About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Write blog posts, guides, video outlines, and tutorials for developers, creators, AI-native builders, and marketers
Own SEO and on-page optimization, working with external SEO and web development support
Create explainers, how-tos, and conceptual overviews to make video AI accessible to technical and non-technical audiences
Write technical articles for developer forums, industry publications, and news sites
Support email and social copy where technical accuracy or product nuance matters
Partner with product, engineering, and partner marketing to stay current on TwelveLabs' products and roadmap
Explain how TwelveLabs models integrate with tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and MCP servers
Monitor competitor and broader video AI messaging to improve TwelveLabs' positioning

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience writing technical or product content for a mix of audiences, ideally including both developers and less technical end users
A portfolio showing the ability to simplify complex technical concepts without dumbing them down and adjust register for different audiences
Enough technical fluency to read documentation, follow a code sample, or participate in an engineering conversation
Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals
Strong ability to structure guides and tutorials
Comfort moving between long-form guides, forum posts, and social captions
Familiarity with video, multimodal AI, or computer vision concepts (preferred)
Experience writing about or using Claude, ChatGPT, or MCP servers (preferred)
Experience writing for developer communities including forums, Dev.to, Hacker News, or Reddit (preferred)
Basic comfort with Git, APIs, or SDKs (preferred)
Ability to travel up to 10% annually
Ability to participate in on-site interviews and/or in-person onboarding processes as required
