About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive technical wins and design scalable customer engagement solutions using Twilio's API platform
Act as the trusted technical advisor for strategic enterprise prospects
Bridge complex business problems and Twilio's communication APIs by crafting innovative architectures
Partner with sales teams to lead technical discovery and translate business requirements into Twilio solutions
Design scalable, secure, and resilient communication workflows using Twilio APIs, including SMS, Voice, Video, and Flex
Develop and deliver technical demonstrations, custom prototypes, and proofs-of-concept
Mitigate technical risks and address objections regarding security, compliance, integration patterns, and architectural best practices
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay market feedback, feature requests, and emerging trends

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in a presales, sales engineering, or solutions architecture role, preferably within the CCaaS, CPaaS, or broader enterprise SaaS industry
Demonstrated proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language, such as Node.js, Python, Java, or C#
Hands-on experience integrating and troubleshooting RESTful APIs
Exceptional presentation and communication skills
Ability to explain complex cloud architecture, web security, and enterprise integration concepts to technical and C-level non-technical stakeholders
Approximately 50% travel anticipated
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical industry experience is desired
