About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the sales team with data entry, document management, and record organization
  • Collaborate with sales to provide white-glove service and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Respond to customer and internal team inquiries
  • Create tailored quotations and maintain standard pricing and product information databases
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships
  • Serve as a primary client contact, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product/service information
  • Monitor customer health and assist with onboarding
  • Create, implement, and maintain reports and dashboards for sales teams and customers
  • Update internal dashboards and notify departments when action is needed
  • Track strategic account orders in the production pipeline and provide stakeholder updates
  • Collaborate with Global Logistics, Commercial Operations, and Global Support
  • Manage cross-functional initiatives and drive process improvements
  • Use CRM software to manage client/prospect information, document interactions, and track the sales pipeline
  • Generate reports and analyze sales performance data
  • Support ad hoc projects, including configuring contracts for discount pricing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving
  • 3–6 years of experience in sales, account management, customer success, or client relations
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Science, preferred
  • Must be based in the USA; compensation details identify the role as California-based and provide a San Francisco Bay Area range
