About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger journal entries in compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Review and analyse expense allocations and ensure accurate general ledger coding
- Reconcile accounts as required
- Prepare daily operating reports
- Assist with monthly BAS and FBT returns alongside Management Accountants and the Corporate Finance Team
- Support inventory-related accounting and reporting activities
- Provide transactional accounting support to Management Accountants and Commercial Accountants
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis
- Undertake other position-related duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree qualification in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years' commercial accounting experience
- Inventory management exposure or experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Must be willing to work on hybrid setup; office is in Ortigas
- Experience using Oracle ERP preferred
- Manufacturing or building industry experience desirable
