About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Complete structured onboarding and training on financial software platforms, implementation methodology, and client delivery standards
Support end-to-end financial software implementations during initial training, including discovery, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support
Independently own assigned ERP implementation lifecycles after completing training and competency milestones
Plan projects, configure solutions, manage deliverables and deadlines, lead client training, support go-live, and provide post-implementation support
Translate client finance requirements into system setup, solution design, and workflow recommendations
Configure Sage Intacct, Sage 300 Cloud, and related solutions, including entities, chart of accounts, dimensions, reporting structures, workflows, approvals, and financial processes
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, system validation, and issue resolution
Prepare client-facing documentation, process guidance, and handover materials
Advise clients on accounting workflows, financial reporting, reconciliations, approvals, internal controls, and month-end processes
Identify automation, standardisation, and financial-system improvement opportunities
Build trusted client relationships and respond to client questions
Communicate project progress, risks, blockers, dependencies, and next steps to clients and internal stakeholders
Track implementation tasks, deliverables, deadlines, risks, and blockers in the team’s system of record
Identify scope changes, assess delivery impact, and recommend resolution or escalation
Maintain quality, billable utilisation, project deadlines, and client satisfaction targets
Collaborate with senior consultants, project leads, team managers, support, sales, finance, account management, and client accounting teams
Contribute to project documentation, lessons learned, reusable assets, implementation best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
Identify opportunities for process improvement, client value, service expansion, and appropriate upselling
Support client concerns and escalations and provide cross-functional technical and functional assistance
Participate in industry events, partner engagement, global networking groups, and internal innovation and change initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of accounting, finance, outsourced accounting, advisory, audit, controller, or financial operations experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close, internal controls, and business processes
Interest in moving into a financial technology, ERP, or software implementation consulting career
Comfortable learning new systems and using technology to solve finance and reporting challenges
Strong communication, documentation, and client service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment
Preferred experience with Sage Intacct, Sage 300 Cloud, QuickBooks Online, Xero, FloQast, or similar financial systems
Preferred exposure to ERP implementations, financial technology projects, system onboarding, or software training
Preferred experience in outsourced accounting, client accounting advisory services, SaaS, professional services, or financial consulting
Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, or multi-client accounting environments
Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Asana, Monday.com, or similar task management systems
Ability to work across different time zones with international partners
Ability to travel onsite based on business and management needs
