About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Profitably administer U-Haul center self-storage
- Oversee all aspects of transactions and security
- Handle transactions, rentals, and customer service
- Keep regular, detailed, and complete records using mobile electronic tools
- Ensure cleanliness and security of the storage site
- Communicate important updates to the General Manager
- Follow up on delinquent accounts
- Complete a daily storage facility inspection
- Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University
Requirements
What you’ll need- Driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Eye for detail
- Ability to walk for long periods indoors and outdoors
- Ability to remain stationary occasionally and traverse spaces
- Ability to reposition to reach and use tools
- Ability to move a minimum of 50 lbs., assisted or unassisted
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship
- U-Haul will not hire or re-hire individuals who use nicotine products in applicable states
