About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Secure trucks on lifts and ramps
Perform tire and brake maintenance
Mount, dismount, and balance tires
Occasionally road test vehicles
Work in a production line
Use U-Haul’s proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist and technology to assess and care for field vehicles
Lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following supervisor directives and guidance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Basic mechanical aptitude
1-2 years of repair experience preferred
Driver’s license
Ability to work as part of a team and individually
Basic computer skills
Regular attendance
Ability to perform manual labor safely and remain alert
Ability to use protective clothing or gear as needed
Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Must not use nicotine products, consistent with applicable state law
