About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide certainty to customers, field team members and U-Haul dealerships through reservation management and distribution of U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing and U-Box portable storage
Coordinate placement of reservations and equipment based on customer demand and equipment productivity
Analyze data and formulate strategies to balance equipment within the assigned market
Work with rate analysts at U-Haul corporate offices and other traffic control managers to balance inventory, increase gross revenue and optimize equipment pricing
Hire, mentor and lead a team of reservation managers supporting market distribution strategy and providing customer service and problem-solving support
Manage equipment distribution in an assigned market generating an average of $15 million annually in gross revenue
Use reports supporting effective equipment distribution, accurate inventory reporting and reservation management

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Management and team-building experience (2 years minimum)
Customer service-oriented with an analytical mind
Excellent communication, listener, interpersonal, leadership, coaching and conflict-resolution skills
Proficiency in office etiquette that helps support and maintain regional Traffic Department standards
Applicants must be legally authorized to work and must not require employer sponsorship
