About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate a flatbed truck; training provided
- Operate an 8000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift; training provided
- Load and unload storage containers for delivery
- Transport storage containers to and from customers’ homes and businesses on local routes
- Ensure customers receive friendly and courteous service
- Manage U-Box containers
- Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University
Requirements
What you’ll need- Clean motor vehicle driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Department of Transportation certification
- Commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Must be 18 or older
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship
- Ability to move a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors and remain stationary for long periods
- Ability to use protective clothing or gear as required
