  • Shape the future of banker technology from within the business
  • Provide strategic leadership and hands-on partnership for banker-facing platforms, tools, and equipment
  • Drive enterprise-scale program delivery, governance, and strategic alignment across a complex portfolio
  • Integrate business and technology partners to ensure predictable execution and leadership visibility
  • Drive end-to-end delivery across multiple interdependent initiatives
  • Lead program-level governance, accountability, structure, and decision frameworks
  • Provide executive-ready reporting on program health, milestones, outcomes, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs
  • Deliver decision-oriented insights to senior leadership for prioritization and investment decisions
  • Establish governance cadence and manage cross-program dependencies
  • Drive risk identification, escalation, and mitigation strategies
  • Maintain a consolidated roadmap aligned with business priorities across branch and small business domains
  • Own program-level quarterly and multi-horizon planning routines
  • Facilitate backlog prioritization, roadmap alignment, and initiative sequencing
  • Align resources, capacity, and delivery timelines to strategic priorities
  • Maintain a forward-looking view of program execution and dependencies
  • Develop and maintain program plans, roadmaps, business requirements, go-to-market readiness, and reporting frameworks
  • Establish program hygiene in Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
  • Ensure traceability, consistent planning/tracking/reporting standards, and compliance with financial and CapEx documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities
  • Deep understanding of frontline banking workflows, operational constraints, and technology enablement including hardware
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives that result in measurable growth
  • Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams including digital, product, and compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills capable of engaging stakeholders and synthesizing complex information to influence and drive decisions
  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills
  • Ability to take initiative, become fluent at new tasks quickly, and act with a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated commitment to U.S. Bank’s values of integrity, collaboration and respect
  • Ability to work from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week
