About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prospect and develop new business for the bank, spending 65–70% of time on these activities
- Build, develop, cultivate, and manage new and existing relationships with business clients
- Recommend financial solutions based on each client's unique goals and needs
- Serve as the primary advisor for business clients
- Deliver financial expertise and client-centric solutions that build strong, long-term relationships
- Assess and attend to clients' banking needs
- Collaborate with internal partners to deliver a One Bank set of solutions
- Conduct consistent outbound marketing activity, including cold calling and attending networking events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Four to five years of relevant experience
- Strong business development and relationship management skills
- Self-motivation, positive personality, and production driven
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge of diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic concepts
- If not meeting with clients, ability to work from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
