About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary advisor for business clients
- Build, develop, and manage new and existing business client relationships
- Assess and attend to clients’ banking needs
- Obtain and process client and account information
- Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services
- Recommend financial solutions based on each client’s goals and needs
- Identify appropriate opportunities to sell the bank’s products
- Deliver financial expertise and client-centric solutions
- Collaborate with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships
- Help business clients achieve their financial goals and support their long-term success
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 10 or more years of relevant experience
- Strong relationship management and business development abilities
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of credit administration, analysis, and credit policy/procedure
- Knowledge of cash flow management and business credit underwriting
- Commercial credit training preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of basic financial accounting and analysis
- Broad knowledge of bank products and services
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge of diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic concepts
- Ability to work from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week
- Applicants must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
- Must comply with applicable regulatory requirements, which may include FINRA, NMLS registration, Reg Z, Reg G, OFAC, NFA, FCPA, Bank Secrecy Act, SAFE Act, and applicable federal guidelines
