About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary advisor for business clients
  • Build, develop, and manage new and existing business client relationships
  • Assess and attend to clients’ banking needs
  • Obtain and process client and account information
  • Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services
  • Recommend financial solutions based on each client’s unique goals and needs
  • Identify appropriate opportunities to sell the bank’s products
  • Deliver financial expertise and client-centric solutions
  • Work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Seven or more years of relevant experience
  • Strong relationship management and business development abilities
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of credit administration, analysis, and credit policy/procedure
  • Knowledge of cash flow management and business credit underwriting
  • Commercial credit training preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic financial accounting and analysis
  • Broad knowledge of bank products and services
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge of diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic concepts
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
  • Ability to comply with applicable employment eligibility verification and background check requirements
