About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor systems, databases, processes, procedures, and business information to identify matters requiring review or escalation
  • Research and analyze higher-risk loss mitigation issues to determine root causes and identify potential process or system gaps
  • Coordinate corrective actions with business partners, clarify required deliverables, track progress, and identify obstacles
  • Provide guidance, support, and recommendations to lines of business regarding risk-related activities and commitments
  • Review testing results, reports, and supporting documentation to validate completed and sustainable corrective actions
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive written documentation summarizing commitments, completed actions, supporting evidence, and justified deviations
  • Support customer remediation efforts involving fees, credit reporting, foreclosure-related impacts, or other adverse customer outcomes
  • Review impacted customer or loan populations to determine whether records were appropriately included or excluded
  • Examine loan-level information and sample records to confirm affected populations are complete and accurate
  • Track customer remediation activities through completion, including actions intended to make impacted customers whole
  • Collect, compile, and analyze data and assist with report development
  • Manage multiple assignments with different deadlines and complexity levels while escalating concerns affecting target dates
  • Contribute to business risk projects, initiatives, and process improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Two to three years of applicable experience
  • Experience researching, investigating, and analyzing complex business or operational issues
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills
  • Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies, question unclear information, and investigate concerns before reaching a conclusion
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business partners, clarify responsibilities, and proactively escalate issues
  • Sound judgment, integrity, curiosity, initiative, and a commitment to completing high-quality work
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team priorities and supporting colleagues when needed
  • Experience reviewing data, reports, or record populations for accuracy and completeness
  • Loss mitigation experience is preferred
  • Experience supporting risk management, compliance, regulatory, customer remediation, or financial services activities is preferred
  • Ability to work in-office 3 or more days per week at one of the posted hub locations
