About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collect payments on assigned delinquent accounts
  • Review account documentation
  • Contact customers/clients by telephone and/or written correspondence
  • Arrange repayment schedules to minimize organizational loss
  • Attend a four-week training class beginning November 2, 2026, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Central Time
  • Work two night shifts from 12pm-9pm Monday-Saturday and 7am-4pm Central Time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to three years of experience in collections and/or customer service activities
  • Good knowledge of loan collection policies and procedures, fair debt collection practices, and related laws
  • Strong customer service/relations skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to organize and interpret information
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
  • Applicants must be able to complete applicable employment eligibility verification and background checks
