About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end client experience and serve as the primary point of accountability for Payments relationship client satisfaction, service quality, and relationship health
  • Build deep, long-term client relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and understanding of client business objectives
  • Conduct regular client reviews to assess satisfaction, identify service gaps, and proactively address client needs
  • Partner with product, trading, and coverage teams to deliver coordinated solutions across PMI and U.S. Bank capabilities
  • Drive organic growth by identifying cross-selling opportunities aligned with client needs
  • Advocate for clients and translate feedback into improvements in products, processes, and service delivery
  • Ensure disciplined execution and follow-through on client commitments
  • Maintain governance and risk awareness in client activities
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and other control partners
  • Assess risk and reward in client engagements while protecting the firm’s reputation and client trust
  • Adhere to applicable policies, procedures, and codes of conduct
  • Complete required corporate and business line training
  • Follow account opening procedures and internal suspicious activity referral processes
  • Work with customers to understand normal account activity where appropriate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Five to seven years of experience in project management activities
  • Considerable knowledge of assigned business line or functional area
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of project management
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and analyze data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong experience supporting institutional clients
  • Broad cross-product understanding spanning Treasury Management Services including Liquidity & Investments, Receivables, Payments, Commercial Cards, Merchant Services, and Trade
  • Understanding of risk management, controls, and regulatory expectations within a large financial institution
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required registrations and licenses within prescribed timeframes
  • Compliance with U.S. Bank policies, procedures, codes of conduct, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security, and suspicious activity reporting requirements
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank workplace conduct and safety policies
