About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage non-credit risk for a complex customer portfolio involving financial transactions, customer relationships, and deposit and payment solutions
  • Monitor and enhance profitability of assigned relationships
  • Serve as liaison between the Commercial Real Estate group and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Recommend product and service solutions based on analysis of customer data
  • Review financials and accurately forecast balances and revenue
  • Build deeper relationships with existing customers by understanding their business and identifying deposit and payment solutions
  • Develop and implement strategies to satisfy customer needs through deposit, cash management, asset management, investment, and other bank products and services
  • Coordinate with product partners to implement solutions and ensure superior service
  • Prospect for new deposit, payment product, and treasury management business
  • Retain and expand existing customer relationships
  • Drive the sales process and grow revenue in the REIT East Market
  • Travel approximately 50%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other related work experience
  • 10+ years commercial deposit gathering, treasury management and relationship management experience
  • Commercial Real Estate knowledge specifically with REITs, developers and property managers
  • Proven ability to continuously grow revenues in a client-facing role
  • Broad knowledge of bank products and services and ability to cross-sell products
  • Ability to provide consultative solutions to CRE customers
  • General working knowledge of commercial credit
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships
  • Ability to resolve customer problems and liaise with other departments, divisions, and subsidiaries
  • Strong leadership and strategic management skills
  • Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and workplace conduct and safety policies
  • Certain positions may be subject to FINRA, NMLS registration, Reg Z, Reg G, OFAC, NFA, FCPA, Bank Secrecy Act, SAFE Act, and/or applicable federal guidelines
