About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Place timely outbound calls from an assigned lead queue at key points in the client lifecycle
- Guide clients through account setup and digital enrollment
- Resolve or escalate issues that create friction
- Partner closely with bankers, product, and operations teams
- Exercise judgment and make decisions with positive operational impact
- Conduct proactive outbound outreach with disciplined call cadence, follow-up, and accurate documentation
- Drive account funding, online banking enrollment, debit card activation, and bill pay or money movement setup
- Resolve or escalate client issues and Banker questions using applicable tools and support channels
- Identify client needs and refer opportunities to bankers and partner teams
- Interact with clients and departments to ensure successful client outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- One to four years of client management, outbound sales, or contact center experience
- Working knowledge of business banking and money movement products, or the ability to ramp quickly
- Proven outbound calling experience with consistent performance against contact and conversion goals
- Detailed knowledge of business, financials, products and services, and the market
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort navigating multiple digital banking systems
- Basic knowledge of account management, project management, operations, and logistics
- Ability to manage high call volume, multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
- Proven customer service and client relations skills, including situational leadership and dispute or conflict resolution
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
- Ability to meet applicable regulatory requirements, which may include FINRA, NMLS registration, Reg Z, Reg G, OFAC, NFA, FCPA, Bank Secrecy Act, SAFE Act, and federal guidelines, depending on the position
