Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work on big data and analytics projects involving large volumes of data
  • Gather, integrate, and acquire data from multiple sources
  • Analyze, interpret, and identify trends or patterns in complex data
  • Develop actionable insights and recommendations for company-wide use
  • Answer business questions and recommend actions
  • Apply statistical techniques and tools to interpret data and analyze results
  • Present data and analysis clearly so audiences understand results and recommendations
  • Collaborate with partners to provide a holistic view of analyses
  • Measure and monitor the results of applied recommendations
  • Present adjustments based on measured results
  • Ensure data acquisition, sharing, and recommendation results comply with company standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
  • Working knowledge of analytics and statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, SAS, and others
  • Experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, and predictive modeling
  • Strong analytic skills with complex data sets
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • B2B experience in financial services or a similar industry
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset, with adaptability to evolving analytics, reporting, and technology landscapes
  • Strong team collaboration skills and comfort partnering with marketing stakeholders
  • Experience with and interest in exploring AI applications within analytics
  • Previous agency-environment experience is a plus
  • Ability to work from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and workplace conduct and safety policies
