About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own all payments management activities for high-value and other key relationships in the embedded payments vertical
  • Assume responsibility for portfolio growth and expansion of cumulative relationships with EPCs, TMCs, and other banking partners
  • Identify and refer new business opportunities with existing clients and support the sales process
  • Monitor and enhance relationship profitability and proactively mitigate client and revenue attrition
  • Manage discovery, engagement, and program delivery for FinTech and embedded payment opportunities and projects
  • Support sales and client onboarding initiatives to realize revenue quickly
  • Manage assigned accounts and projects to retain customers and drive revenue
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, partners, project execution, and opportunity tracking
  • Evaluate and discover growth opportunities with Embedded Payments, Product Management, and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of technical aspects of company products and services and their integration into customer operations
  • Create business cases and growth plans for assigned accounts
  • Work within a matrixed organization and through established sales channels
  • Build customer confidence in technical solutions and address technical objections throughout the sales cycle
  • Develop and deliver customized client proposals, demonstrations, and presentations
  • Consult on technical sales strategy and help internal Bank channels identify opportunities
  • Sell as part of a team
  • Assist with proposal preparation, pricing recommendations, and implementation support
  • Train sales teams on product technical details

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Eight to 10 years of related experience
  • Demonstrated sales support background and experience
  • Proficient technical and analytical acumen
  • Knowledge of Treasury Management products and solutions in primary area of responsibility, as well as related products and solutions offered by other Bank lines of business
  • Expert proficiency demonstrating complex/software-based solutions
  • Excellent program management and strategic planning experience and skills
  • Good organizational, managerial, and cross-functional project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with large teams, solve problems, and work independently when necessary
  • Experience with design thinking methodology and working in an agile and waterfall environment a plus
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
