About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop new business relationships to drive revenue growth and expand market share
- Increase profitability within existing accounts
- Identify opportunities by leveraging knowledge of client needs, market trends, products, and services
- Conduct consultative sales presentations for prospective and current clients
- Demonstrate how the organization's payment solutions can help achieve clients' business objectives
- Build and maintain a strong referral network
- Execute a strategic calling program to generate leads, strengthen relationships, and drive sales results
- Spend approximately 80% of time within the assigned territory meeting with clients, prospects, and business partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Two to three years of relevant sales experience
- Ability to travel
- Candidates must reside in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, Illinois
- Basic knowledge of product marketing, client service issues and organization operations
- Strong marketing, business development/sales and negotiating skills
- Ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues
- Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
