Key responsibilities & impact
  • Shape executive narratives, pre-reads, and decision memos for ELT and Board-level forums
  • Translate strategy, priorities, and progress into a clear, consistent enterprise storyline
  • Drive leadership alignment on priorities, trade-offs, risks, and outcomes
  • Frame decision options, constraints, and recommendations to improve decision quality
  • Establish and sustain executive operating cadences and governance routines
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, removing blockers and clarifying direction
  • Ensure leaders have the clarity, alignment, and insight needed to move the enterprise forward
  • Support critical needs and ensure timely follow-through during evenings and weekends when required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, or enterprise execution roles within large, complex organizations
  • Experience supporting large-scale technology, infrastructure, or cloud organizations
  • Strong executive communication, synthesis, and storytelling skills, including Board- and ELT-level narratives and decision materials
  • Ability to translate complex strategy, priorities, and results into a clear, cohesive enterprise storyline
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment without formal authority
  • Expertise in framing decision options, risks, constraints, and trade-offs to enable prioritization and governance
  • Strong leadership alignment and facilitation capabilities to drive decisions, ownership, and follow-through
  • Comfort operating at speed across matrixed business and technology environments, including ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Experience with executive governance routines or leadership operating models
  • Trusted advisor mindset, applying structured problem solving and principled challenge with senior leaders
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills across business, technology, portfolio/program management, risk, and compliance
  • High degree of flexibility and responsiveness, with frequent unplanned work and shifting priorities
  • Periodic availability during evenings and weekends
  • Must comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
