About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage complex, high-impact HR cases through ServiceNow related to ADA, LOA, FMLA, and accessibility
  • Apply federal, state, and local requirements in real time
  • Balance legal risk, employee needs, and business objectives to develop practical, defensible solutions
  • Conduct judgment-based analysis, risk assessment, and make clear recommendations for sensitive and time-critical cases
  • Serve as a trusted consultant to leaders and stakeholders
  • Navigate complex scenarios, promote equitable outcomes, and support an inclusive workplace

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years of experience in employee relations or as an HR Generalist or associated HR position, disability management, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience working in HR Operations or HR Service Center preferred
  • Experience with federal and state disability laws, specifically ADA, LOAs, Employee Relations, Employment Law, Disability case work is desired
  • Ability to work independently and to identify when to engage others
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to maintain confidential information
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of accommodation solutions as it pertains to disability-related barriers
  • Must work from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week
  • Applicants must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
