About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Understand the assigned business line’s strategy, priorities, performance needs, and learning requirements
- Develop relevant, practical learning solutions aligned with business-line goals and measures of success
- Build sustained partnerships with leaders, subject matter experts, and employees
- Lead structured discovery and diagnostic conversations to identify root causes of performance gaps
- Guide stakeholders toward enterprise-aligned solutions
- Connect the assigned business line, GL&D, and HR to drive shared ownership and clarity
- Translate business-line strategy into structured learning journeys, programs, and experiences
- Partner with instructional designers, facilitators, and subject matter experts on solution alignment, resources, and execution
- Establish governance routines, prioritization mechanisms, and decision forums
- Ensure programs are scalable, sustainable, and integrated into the flow of work
- Define success metrics tied to capability, readiness, employee performance, and business outcomes
- Apply formal measurement and evaluation approaches aligned to ISO standards
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to assess program performance and inform continuous improvement
- Communicate impact through executive-ready insights and storytelling
Requirements
What you’ll need- Six or more years of learning and development, HR, business, or managerial experience
- Demonstrated experience building strong business partnerships and leading learning solutions that address complex, business-specific needs
- Strong consulting skills with the ability to influence peers and leaders
- Deep understanding of business consulting, learning strategy, capability development, or performance improvement
- Expertise in adult learning principles and modern, blended learning approaches
- Experience using formal measurement frameworks and data to drive decisions
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect learning strategy to business line priorities, performance goals, employee needs, and measurable outcomes
- Must be able to work from a U.S. Bank hub location three or more days per week
- Applicants must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
