About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the California PMI sales division and its sales professionals
  • Drive new-to-bank client acquisition and deepen wallet share across existing clients
  • Deliver end-to-end Treasury Management and Payments solutions
  • Hire, develop, lead, and hold accountable high-performing sales professionals
  • Generate revenue using solution-selling strategies
  • Assist with designing new services and developing sales strategy
  • Sustain division profitability and growth
  • Provide regular performance updates to stakeholders
  • Set strategic direction and leadership for the sales team
  • Create and maintain cost-effective division programs
  • Coordinate strategy, tactics, and sales approach with relationship management and functional partners
  • Lead a performance-driven sales organization through expectations, measurement, coaching, and accountability
  • Ensure compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and applicable banking, anti-money-laundering, information-security, and suspicious-activity requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to engage effectively with large, sophisticated commercial clients operating across multiple geographies and product needs
  • Proven capability to lead and develop teams, including direct management of managers
  • Ability to build and scale complex businesses, driving sustained revenue growth and market share gains
  • Strong understanding of technology enabled treasury and payments solutions and digital capabilities
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and executive presence skills
  • Deep expertise in Treasury Management services, including liquidity and investments, receivables, payments, commercial cards, merchant services, and trade
  • Well-developed leadership and strategic management skills
  • Strong knowledge of the assigned division/segment and broader industry
  • Experience managing multiple teams and 12–20 FTEs
  • BA/MBA in finance, accounting, or another related field
  • 10+ years of experience in financial services
  • 8+ years of management experience developing sales teams
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
