About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and develop new and existing Payments, Commercial Card, and Treasury Management relationships within the Energy sector
  • Support complex and capital-intensive energy organizations
  • Help clients optimize liquidity, streamline payment operations, enhance working capital, and support strategic growth initiatives
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles across multiple buying centers
  • Serve CFOs, Treasurers, Assistant Treasurers, Controllers, Procurement leaders, and Shared Services organizations
  • Coordinate across Merchant Services, Commercial Cards, and Treasury Services to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Travel to meet with clients and bank partners 25% or more annually

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of related experience
  • Demonstrated enterprise sales experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision-makers and buying centers
  • Strong preference working in the energy industry
  • Minimum five years of related payments sales
  • Extensive knowledge of treasury management products
  • Thorough knowledge of the organization and its products, services, and operations
  • Proven ability to navigate complex sales engagements across multiple buying centers, including Payments Partnerships, CFO, Treasurer, and Cash Manager
  • Experience selling into gaming and technology industries
  • Ability to quarterback across Merchant Services, Commercial Cards, and Treasury Services to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Strong sales and new business development skills
  • Excellent customer service/relations skills
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel to meet with clients and bank partners 25% plus annually
  • Ability to work from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week
